• Soybean Seeds Platform in Brazil

    In July 2025, Silk Road Fund (SRF) enters into an agreement with Patria, a renowned Latin American asset manager, to invest in a Brazilian soybean seeds platform. It marks SRF’s first investment in the Brazilian agricultural sector. Through a buy-and-build strategy, the soybean seeds platform aims to become a leading company in Brazil’s seed processing sector. This investment improves the quality of soybean and grain production in Brazil, facilitates the integration of the market and industrial chain, thus enhances the well-being of local communities.

  • Investcorp Saudi Growth Fund

    In June 2025, Silk Road Fund invested as a limited partner in the Investcorp Saudi Growth Fund. This fund was initiated and raised by Investcorp, a well-known Middle East fund manager, and mainly invests in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The fund focuses on sectors such as healthcare, consumption, transportation, logistics and business services, helping promote economic diversification in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.

  • Southeast Asia K-12 Education Platform

    In April 2025, Silk Road Fund (SRF) participated in the investment of Indochina Academy, a leading K-12 affordable schools group in Southeast Asia. The group includes assets in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, with a current capacity of over 30,000 students across 31 campuses.  This project marks SRF’s first investment in Southeast Asia’s basic education sector. It helps enhance the quality of basic education in the region, while promoting cultural exchanges and deepening cooperation with neighbouring countries.

  • Electricity Transmission Platform in Brazil

    In April 2025, Silk Road Fund (SRF) invested in Skyline, a Brazilian electricity transmission platform launched by Actis. It marks SRF’s first RMB-funded investment in the Brazilian energy sector, and also the first investment made via SRF-Actis joint investment platform. Skyline currently owns and operates two transmission line assets totaling 857km, and is in the process of acquiring further assets. This investment in Brazil’s core infrastructure facilitates the transmission of green power from generation sites to load centers through the national grid. It effectively facilitates Brazil’s renewable energy integration and energy transition while promoting regional interconnectivity.
