Equity Acquisition of Aramco Gas Pipelines Company

In February 2022, Silk Road Fund joined the global investor consortium led by BlackRock Real Assets and Hassana Investment Company, acquiring 49% of Aramco Gas Pipelines Company's equity from Saudi Aramco. Aramco Gas Pipelines Company shall receive transportation tariff for the sales gas and other gas products transported through Saudi Aramco's current and future gas pipeline systems until 2042.

This transaction enables the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's energy transition, and showcases the Fund's efforts to reduce carbon emission and respond to climate change. It could also unlock further synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
