Mr. Cai Xuejun is the President of Silk Road Fund, as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Before joining the Fund, he worked for the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) Investment Center (Reserve Management Department), and the Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China (Singapore). Mr. Cai received a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
Mr. Ding Guorong is an Executive Vice President of Silk Road Fund. Before joining the Fund, he assumed a number of positions in different institutions, including Shenzhen Institutional Reform Office, Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Bureau, China Securities Regulatory Commission, Central Huijin Investment Ltd., Shenyin & Wanguo Securities Co., Ltd., and China Investment Corporation. Mr. Ding holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Economics from Fudan University, an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Economics from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
Ms. Wang Dan is an Executive Vice President of Silk Road Fund. Before joining the Fund, Ms. Wang consecutively worked at the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China (PBC), the PBC International Department and the Monetary Policy Department II. She also worked at the International Monetary Fund as Advisor to the Executive Director for China. Ms. Wang holds a Master's Degree in Finance from the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China.
Mr. Wang Yingjie is an Executive Vice President of Silk Road Fund. Before joining the Fund, Mr. Wang worked at the Wuhan Branch of the People's Bank of China (PBC) and the PBC General Administration Department. Mr. Wang holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
Mr. Si Xinbo is an Executive Vice President of Silk Road Fund. Before joining the Fund, he worked for Beijing Institute of Machinery Industry and China Development Bank, including the bank’s M&E and Light Textile Credit Management Bureau, the Asset Restructuring Bureau, the Audit Review Bureau and the Qinghai Branch. Mr. Si holds an MBA from Tsinghua University.
Mr. Li Hongcheng is the Assistant President and Chief Financial Officer of Silk Road Fund. Before joining the Fund, he assumed a number of positions at the Export-Import Bank of China, including in the Credit Department, the General Office, the Treasury, and the Transportation Financing Department. Mr. Li holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Peking University.
Ms. Hannah Cao is General Counsel of Silk Road Fund. Prior to joining the Fund, she practiced law with international law firms in New York and Beijing. Early in her career, she worked at the International Business Department of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, HQ. Ms. Cao received a JD from Brooklyn Law School, a MA in International Relations from Yale University and a BA in International Economics from Peking University.
