In June 2026, Silk Road Fund launched Value Trail Phase-II cooperation with French private equity firm TRAIL. Covering Europe and other Belt and Road partner countries, the program focus on small yet smart investment targets in key sectors closely related to enhancing local people’s wellbeing. Such sectors include healthcare, financial services, energy transition and consumption. Such investment cooperation aims to empower investee companies in their pursuit of global growth. This will also help deepen China’s economic and trade cooperation with France, Europe, as well as other Belt and Road partner countries.
