Actis Infrastructure Platform Expansion

In January 2026, Silk Road Fund (SRF) and Actis, a renowned infrastructure investment firm focused on emerging markets, scaled up their jointly established infrastructure investment platform to RMB 10 billion. In March, SRF completed its investment in Actis Emerging Markets Energy Fund VI via the platform. Focusing on key emerging markets including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa, the platform invests in infrastructure across energy, transport and telecommunications sectors, with priority given to RMB-denominated financing. This will further enhance SRF’s investment presence across emerging markets, deepen international cooperation in the infrastructure sector, and promote greater use of RMB in cross-border transactions.
