Silk Road Fund and the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Co-hosted the Roundtable on China-Türkiye Investment Cooperation and Signed Bilateral MOU

On the morning of June 22, 2026, Silk Road Fund and the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye co-hosted the Roundtable on China-Türkiye Investment Cooperation. The meeting was co-chaired by Chairwoman ZHU Jun and President Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu. Chinese enterprises from the infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare and technology sectors, as well as regional financial institutions, have been invited to the Roundtable.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. Chairwoman ZHU reviewed the cooperation between the two sides and briefed on SRF’s current portfolio. She stated that SRF is ready to facilitate collaboration between Chinese and Turkish enterprises and financial institutions, exploring the potential for bilateral cooperation in impact investment and local currency usage. President Dağlıoğlu introduced Türkiye’s policy incentives, such as income tax relief to attract manufacturing businesses and R&D centers. He extended welcome for more Chinese enterprises to invest in Türkiye, and expressed readiness to share connections and deliver one-stop investment facilitation services.

In the evening, President CAI Xuejun attended the reception held by the Turkish Embassy in China in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with President Dağlıoğlu.

The Roundtable co-hosted by SRF and the Investment and Finance Office, along with the signing of the MoU, represents a milestone in deepening bilateral cooperation, which will enable SRF to further its investment along the Belt and Road and empower Chinese enterprises to expand their overseas footprint.
