In February 2026, Silk Road Fund and Macquarie Capital jointly acquired Renewi, a leading integrated waste management company in the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). Renewi collects and sorts over 10 million tons of various types of waste annually, effectively improving local waste recycling rates. It also helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions from waste incineration, contributing to the achievement of EU 2050 net-zero target.
